Plot Summary

Meg Ryan (YOU'VE GOT MAIL) and Hugh Jackman (REAL STEEL, X-MEN) come together as star-crossed lovers who discover that passion and chivalry never go out of style. When a rip in time brings together a charming 19th-century bachelor and a 21st-century woman, the potential for an old-fashioned modern romance ignites. Also starring Breckin Meyer ("Franklin & Bash," GARFIELD) and Liev Schreiber (SALT), KATE & LEOPOLD is "a delightful charmer" (LOS ANGELES TIMES) and a timeless love story.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Too bad director/co-writer James Mangold ... couldn't come up with anything fresher and more worthy of Jackman's suave grace. – Claudia Puig, USA Today, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: A time-travel romantic comedy whose best elements -- Meg Ryan and Hugh Jackman -- overcome distracting plot holes, loose threads and assorted contrivances to make for a mostly charming and diverting tale. – Lael Loewenstein, Variety, Oct 2, 2011

Rotten: The problem with Kate & Leopold is that although this is supposed to be a romantic comedy, the best scenes are the ones in which there's no Ryan. – Stephanie Zacharek, Salon.com, Jul 7, 2010

Fresh: It's a charmer. – Jay Carr, Boston Globe, Jun 24, 2010

This Is A Really Good Movie

You wouldn't think it from the premise, but it's a very good movie

Movie is ok!

The movie is ok, but not as good as You've Got Mail or when Harry met Sally! But what I don't understand this is the second time it has been released in iTunes,
and in the first it was available in HD for the same price! April fools joke or what?

Good thing, but...

Pre-order for movie released 11 years ago (2001)? Are you kidding me? And it's not even in HD!
