Plot Summary

While visiting the local pharmacy for wart remover, Kath fills out a form for a chance to win a holiday to (the fictional) "Kingdom of Papilloma". Initially asking Kel, who refuses to travel because of his fear of flying and his dedication to watching the finals of MasterChef, Kath reluctantly decides to take Kim and Sharon along on the trip. Coincidentally, Prue and Trude are clandestinely embarking on a holiday to Italy at the same time.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: You'll likely be looking for distractions to help make the time pass quicker. The obvious choice would be to keep count of all the hackneyed catch phrases, though I found tallying the repeated shots of exposed butt-cracks to be more fruitful. – Simon Miraudo, Quickflix, Sep 14, 2012

Rotten: This isn't a comedy; it's a horror. – Jim Schembri, 3AW, Sep 7, 2012

Rotten: Despite these familiar set-ups, it soon becomes clear that there is something missing from Kath And Kimderella. – Philippa Hawker, The Age (Australia), Sep 6, 2012

Rotten: Watching them totter around the backblocks of Italy just doesn't bring on the titters. Without their home ground advantage, the team falls to bits. – Leigh Paatsch, Herald Sun (Australia), Sep 6, 2012

Hope They Come To America For Part 2

The movie is funny, I prefer the series more, but enjoyed the movie. Gina Riley and Jane Turner have a very special brand of humor, playing more than one character, mis-pronouncing words and play on words. If they make a part 2, I hope they win a trip to America this time, would love to see them film on this side of the Specific Ocean Polese :-)
