Plot Summary
Will Ferrell's trademark off-the-wall lunacy kicks in for a comedy sure to score big with the whole family! Phil Weston (Ferrell) is a mild-mannered suburban dad - who's suddenly transformed into a caffeine-fueled sports maniac when he becomes the coach of his son's unruly soccer team. But when the championship pits Phil's underdog team against the squad coached by his own domineering dad (Oscar® winner Robert Duvall), it's game on for the most uproarious mismatch of the season! Rotten: Sit in a room by yourself, look at a blank screen for 90 minutes, and you'll have more of a chance of laughing at your own thoughts than you will at this movie.
Rotten: Even a soccer-savvy audience has better things to do -- like instilling unsportsmanlike behavior in their kids or sabotaging rival teams.
Fresh: Most of the time, [the kids] go along. Most of the time we do, too.
Fresh: Silly, mindless and derivative, but Duvall brings some bite to the proceedings and Ferrell is dependably amusing.

So Funny!
This movie is too funny. When I saw it in theaters I was laughing through the whole movie! Even my parents find it funny! It's a good family movie about a dad and his son, and how the competition of a game can lead you away from what really matters - having fun and playing your best! I really do recommend at least renting this movie!
Hilarious
This is DEFINITELY my favorite comedy movie. Will Ferrel cracks me up!! Also, Josh Hutcherson is one of my favorite young actors. After I rented this movie from Family Video and watched it, I knew that I had to buy it. However, I will not buy this off of iTunes because I already own it on DVD. If you haven't seen this movie, I definitely reccomend that you at least rent it.

Will ferrel is soo funny in this movie. It's a must see for the whole family! It will make you crack up, I swear.
