Hard To Stop Laughing

Very funny and realistic story about what it's like to hangout with best friends, reminiscing about the good times while trying to stay young. What it lacks in plot it makes up for in laughs. Some very good performances and attractive ladies. Also a very good soundtrack for this type of film.

The story revolves around a group of friends just out of college (and one older) who are hanging out. A high school-age younger brother and some friends also stop by with some girls. About 10-12 in all, so there is a lot of very fast paced conversations with all of them in the same room, which keeps the tempo moving, although there are few locations. The young guys want to get girls, but in a realistic, naive way - not the typical 'I have to lose my virginity by the prom' usually seen in movies. The older guys are very non-chalante about sex, or so we think. We soon realize one of the guys is coping with a job offer across country and this has affected his sexual relationship with his girlfriend - who is played brilliantly by Schmidt.

There are some hilarious sub-plots with one character worknig in an adult store dreaming of midhets and naked girls and also the one younger, overweight kid wanting a 'husky girl', as he refers to her. And although looking to be about 30, rather than 24, the older brother has some very memoerable scenes. Overall, it's a unique look at life. It's sexual and somehow not very offensive. Maybe it's because they same weiner rather than a vulgar word. Maybe it's because they poke boobs instead of (I don't know what actually).
