Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: It's not worthless, but it's not good. As a genre film, it's too ambitious; as an art film, it's too obvious. – David DeWitt, New York Times, Jul 11, 2013

Rotten: The sight of Robert De Niro and John Travolta sharing the screen for the first time reps the one and only selling point of Killing Season. – Alissa Simon, Variety, Jul 11, 2013

Rotten: The pretentious, preposterous, dueling-dialect flameout called "Killing Season" has to stand as one of the biggest missed opportunities in iconic matchups. – Robert Abele, Los Angeles Times, Jul 11, 2013

Rotten: A drawn out cat-and-mouse game never catches fire. – Boyd van Hoeij, Hollywood Reporter, Jul 11, 2013

Yep.

Next time you two guys need some money just ask. Please don't do this again!!!! Here's a tip, get a banjo and a shoe box and put yourself on the street corner then the cash will flow buddy!

Worth watching!

As far as direct to video movies go, this is definately worth watching. A few things were sub par or annoying (like Travolta's accent- we know him too well to believe it more than analyze it everytime he speaks) and it's not either of these guy's best work, but I'll watch (and enjoy) almost anything with De Niro in it.

Bad ratings are bull, great movie!!!

Whoever gave this movie a bad rating should be drowned this movie was great and well worth watching again!!!
