Plot Summary

The makers of 'The War Room' and 'Don't Look Back,' D.A. Pennebaker and Chris Hegedus, turn their sights on the competition for the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France (MOF), France's Nobel Prize for pastry. Imagine a scene never before witnessed: Sixteen French pastry chefs gathered in Lyon for three intense days of mixing, piping and sculpting everything from delicate chocolates to six-foot sugar sculptures in hopes of being declared by President Nicolas Sarkozy one of the best. Don

This documentary follows 3 contestants in the Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Patisserie) competition. Basically, it's 90 minutes of watching the best pastry and candy makers in the world working their craft. Their creations are absolutely stunning and could leave you wanting to rush out to the nearest bakery. Highly recommended for anyone who loves pastry.

Wasn't sure at first if I would like this, but turned soon to a thoroughly great movie. Highly recommend. Don't worry...very little subtitles.

This is the ultimate in baking contests

This was a fascinating look at one of the most prestigious pastry contests in the world and the chefs that shelf their lives in the hopes of being named to this honor. Fascinating and gripping story.
