Plot Summary
Knuckleball is the story of Brett Leake who was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy at the young age of 13. With the support of his family, he has become a nationally recognized comedian appearing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno five times. Each year as the disease progresses, he finds new ways to bring joy into his life and into the lives of those around him. Whenever a door closes, he finds a new door to open. His stand-up/sit-down comedy has taken him all over the world. He overcomes a disability to become an inspiration to everyone he comes in contact with. Knuckleball shows how Muscular Dystrophy became a family issue as he shares the disease with his brother, his father, three of his dad's brothers and their sons. His brilliant wit and unfaltering strength give us a roadmap of how to live the good life.
