Fresh: As an Oscar nominee, Kolya lacks the cinematic dazzle of France's Ridicule. But no one can claim that its emotional clout isn't earned.
Customer Reviews
Czech Light Drama
The plot is the standard single, selfish, womanizing bachelor gets stuck with a child and becomes a better person because of it. Still, it plays out well and feels more believable than most other films with the same plot. It felt more like a light drama than a comedy to me. Subtitles are good and paced well.
