Plot Summary
A zany comedy about two sisters, their gay best friend, and their overzealous stage mom. When one sister gets pregnant and the other plans to waltz out of the closet, the family must hustle to maintain their status quo in the harsh arena of competitive dance.

Fantastic! I can't say enough great things about this movie.
Wow! This was great!
From all of the "So You Think You Can Dance" cast members who make guest appearances and contribute to the fantastic dancing - more on the dancing later - to the really impressive soundtrack, and the sweet sweet sweet story, this movie doesn't miss (and isn't missing) a thing. And, though I don't want to pigeon-hole it by calling it family-friendly, it really is: It's a classic love story timelessly told for *now*. And it manages this feat without judging or pandering, by being poignant but not preachy and hysterical and insightfully sarcastic without being sardonic. It's so darn near perfect that I couldn't believe it was a first-time film by the writer/director/producer team that did it. Really impressive!
Oh And The Dancing! First of all, yes, there are great, dramatic, sweeping dance numbers. But *everything* is a dance in this movie. The way the main character cleans up the pizza parlor and stacks the salt and pepper shakers, the way Cedric - played by "So You Think You Can Dance" season 2 winner Benji Schwimmer who positively glows in what is likely (hopefully) soon to be called a breakout roll for him - dances while doing everything to the way the family goes grocery shopping, this film is itself a dance! (You'll never look at grocery store ailes the same way again!)
