Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Maybe the film loses a little steam as it rolls along, but it is still puffing and tooting as Clooney and Zellweger ride off into the sunset. – Richard Schickel, TIME Magazine, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: More amiable than witty and relying heavily on the likability and charm of its lead actors, Leatherheads scores more points as a retro romantic comedy than a football saga. – Claudia Puig, USA Today, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Tragically, Leatherheads is just OK, though the film may well find an audience among those eager for a little diversion, what with the nostalgia factor and the George Clooney factor. – Michael Phillips, Chicago Tribune, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Leatherheads is not that good a movie, and yet it would be hard to enjoy saying anything nasty about it. – Mick LaSalle, San Francisco Chronicle, Jun 24, 2010

Customer Reviews

This has to be the worst movie ever.

First of all, let me start by getting this out of the way. Now everyone that posts after me will say "don't listen to STPFan94, this movie is great". Well I don't think it's great. I thought it was awful. The trailer depicted a movie about the early start of football in the Roarin' 20's America. Instead what I saw was a story about a football player, who is dishonest about being a war hero. Not what I expected. I had to slap myself to stay awake, and often found the so called "humorous" parts just plain dumb. Do not buy this movie. It's not funny. Well, that's all I have to say. Now diss me if you want, but I think you'll catch what I'm saying.

amazinggg.
