Rotten: The first one was silly fun, amusing and oddly inventive; the second is plodding, unfunny and almost cringe-worthy. – Claudia Puig, USA Today, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: May be the worst film I have ever seen with an actress I have previously adored: in this case, Reese Witherspoon. – Andrew Sarris, New York Observer, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Flops where it should zing, trotting out cringe-worthy cliches and hoary plot contrivances. – Teresa Wiltz, Washington Post, Jun 24, 2010

Dissapointment

The first was better. They had a few good actors in this one Sally Fields, Regina King, Bruce McGill and of course Reese Witherspoon but the script just didn't live up to their talents. The "genius ditz" thing just didn't work the second time around. Sally Fields was good as was Regina King because their characters were more real. I think the movie would have been much much better if they had tossed some of the silliness and been a little bit more serious. The writers could have let Elle keep her optimism but maybe temper it with a bit of maturity/life experience rather than the candy coated, sparkle pony optimism of 9 year old girls at a slumber party.

Great Movie!!!!!

It's not as good as the first, but I thought it was a great sequal to the origanal Legally Blonde. It upsets some animal rights activists, but i liked it!!!!

Stupid

This movie is a waste of money. On a school philly trip, we watched this on the bus, it was terrible. The entire movie is about her dog, at first you think it isn't going to be the main plot, just a side plot, but it turns out to be the main plot. Don't buy this.
