Plot Summary

Legend, from director Ridley Scott (Blade Runner, Gladiator), is a visually stunning fantasy-adventure in which pure good and evil battle to the death amidst spectacular surroundings. Set in a timeless mythical forest inhabited by fairies, goblins, unicorns and mortals, this fantastic story stars Tom Cruise as a mystical forest dweller, chosen by fate, to undertake a heroic quest. He must save the beautiful Princess Lily (Mia Sara) and defeat the demonic Lord of Darkness (Tim Curry), or the world will be plunged into a never-ending ice age.

1st epic movie...

'Legend'' is not just a movie about goblins, fairies and all other mythical creatures. It's a story of hope, imagination and fighting for what's right. This movie has been a pacifier to me for as long as I can remember. I love to watch it before I go to bed. Tangerine Dream really caught the fantasy world with there score and Bryan Ferry's "Is your love strong enough" is an all time single hit. I am a HUGE movie buff and 'legend' is honestly my most memorable film. A MUST OWN!

GREAT! a must own!

This movie is one of my personal favorites! I don't understand these critics, this movie is a SOLID 5 star movie. I'm a fan of mythic fairy type movies. Tangerine Dream did a great job, the movie isnt the same without their music in it! Most of the greatest movies are from 80s and 90s. those were the days where a GREAT movie wasn't based on HUGE special effects budget and multiple high dollar actors, it was based on the story lines. ALL the graphics, special effects, and high dollar actors in the WORLD cant replace a GOOD story line!

Please note I was born in 1983 and i prefer to see movies from 80s and 90s over today's current so called "great" movies. Once the year 2000 hit storylines where dropped for state of the art special effects and over paid actors. I do apologize if this comment offends anyone.
