Plot Summary
Boxoffice superstar and Academy Award-winner Mel Gibson ("Maverick," "Braveheart") and Danny Glover ("The Color Purple," "Grand Canyon") team up as L.A. cops in the top-grossing action movie that spawned three sequels. Directed by Richard Donner ("Superman," "Maverick"), Gibson is a volatile, unregistered risk-taker, known as a "lethal weapon" by his colleagues. Glover is the conservative detective with a solid reputation. Forced to form an uneasy alliance, they begin to unravel the mystery of an apparent suicide that turns out to be murder -- and more. You should know all of the great action movies: Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, Dirty Harry, etc. This movie is a classic. Very good movie.
Let us buy this movie!
Movie was the best cop movie EVER! It showed that cops are human too and have the same faults as the rest of us. The action scenes were great and keep you engaged through the whole movie. Come on Itunes let us buy and not just rent.
