Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: There are some entertaining and moving scenes here, but, overall, it's a bit softhearted for my taste. – Walter V. Addiego, San Francisco Chronicle, Sep 28, 2012

Fresh: Liberal Arts maneuvers its story in a philosophical way that is anything but detached. There's a warmth here that reminds audiences why college -- and, dare we say, their core curriculums? -- matter. – Lisa Kennedy, Denver Post, Oct 5, 2012

Fresh: Poetic justice Is served in insightful LIBERAL ARTS – Chase Whale, Film.com, Nov 8, 2013

Fresh: Liberal Arts is a resolutely vanilla-flavored concoction but still pleasant, amiable, and a little more thoughtful than your average rom-com. – Richard Haridy, Quickflix, Nov 25, 2013

Great movie

One of the best movies I've seen this year, Josh Radnor proved that he is capable of doing greater things than playing Ted Mosby in How I Met Your Mother (which by the way i LOVE). The soundtrack is outstanding

Very nice movie!

This movie may not be for everyone, but I found it very enjoyable. It is intelligent, literate, and with moments of warm-hearted humour and surprises. A good choice if you wish to take a break from the Hollywood blockbusters to see something more alternative made with a well-written script.

Awesome

Loved it and loved Josh Radnor in it and I live How I met your mother it's extremely hilarious
