Plot Summary

At a small-time motorcycle track in Arizona, an inept Little Fauss trails the field. His most loyal boosters are his parents, Seally and Mom Fauss. Seally has the sanitary concession; Mom operates the catering truck. Mom tries to interest a photographer in taking Little’s picture. However, the photographer has his lens trained on the long scar on the back of Halsy Knox, a lithe, swaggering hustler, who feeds his girl, Sylvene, the remains of a sandwich he stole from Mom.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: There are some men whose tragedy arises not from what they suffer but what they fail to feel. Little Fauss and Big Halsy are such men -- and so are those who made the movie. – Stefan Kanfer, TIME Magazine, Jul 22, 2013

Rotten: Hampered by a thin screenplay, film is padded further by often-pretentious direction by Sidney J. Furie against expansive physical values. – Variety Staff, Variety, Jul 22, 2013

Rotten: Rotten to the core without a surface ripple in its moral superiority. – Molly Haskell, Village Voice, Jan 18, 2013
