Plot Summary
Academy Award and Golden Globe-winner Warren Beatty ("Down to Earth," "Bulworth") and real-life wife and Academy Award-nominee and Golden Globe-winner Annette Bening ("Being Julia", "American Beauty") star in this remake of the classic love story "An Affair to Remember." Four-time Academy Award and Emmy-winner and Golden Globe-nominee Katharine Hepburn ("On Golden Pond," "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner") returns to the silver screen, joined by Emmy-winner and Golden Globe-nominee Garry Shandling ("Doctor Doolittle," TV's "The Larry Sanders Show"), Kate Capshaw ("The Love Letter," "Just Cause") and Golden Globe-nominee Pierce Brosnan ("The Matador", various James Bond features). Co-written by Beatty and Academy Award and Golden Globe-winner Robert Towne ("Mission Impossible" 1 & 2). Gene Siskel says this movie "stands on the chemistry of Beatty and Bening. . . they have it in real life, and on the screen they have it too."

An underrated classic!
Sure, sure... people can blab about the Charles Boyer and Cary Grant Love Affairs being better then this one, but this film will always hold a special place in my heart for it's warmth, it's good humor, it's beautiful music, wonderful cinematography and most importantly: Starring two of my heroes Warren Beatty and Annette Bening! iTunes, I can't thank you enough for letting this movie be available to buy or rent! You guys are awesome!
From C.Grant and D.Kerr to-- Beatty and Bening.
I know this is the third remake and it's still about the empire state building. But there are reasons why i still love this movie more than anything else:
1. the magic of Warren and Annette is what makes this movie special, their love and their story is amazing (they're still together till this day). Knowing that they're ACTUALLY together somehow makes this fictional story not so fictional. They're a living love story of Hollywood.
2. Katharine Hepburn shared the same screen with Annette Bening (who's now known as the Hepburn of our time)
3. Ennio Morricone's genius score still moves me and gives me butterflies when i hear that beautiful tune.
If you're looking for something warm and sweet, this is your pick!
Acting lessons needed badly
That was possibly the worst film I have seen in a very long time.
I was never a fan of warren Beatty and now I know why.
