Plot Summary
Love means never having to say you're sorry... Love Story. Everyone loves Love Story! One of the most romantic movies ever made also remains one of the most enduringly popular. This heartfelt 1970 tale of the love of a lifetime-the most successful Paramount movie up to that time-received seven Academy Award nominations (including Best Picture) and won one for Francis Lai's magnificent score. Cheesey, But The Good Kind Of Cheesey
Here's how screwy the 70s were -- the cornball chick flick was nominated for 7, count 'em, 7 Academy Awards. It doen't stand the test of time if you're trying to take it seriously, but it is an interesting time capsule. Exhibit A: "Love means never having to say you're sorry" *still* doesn't make any sense 36 years later.
The Music
ITS a Classic, I grew up and remeber in the 70's when this movie came out. The story is sad, but the feeling of love is felt in the music and emotion. Time moves on but a classic like this live on in those who remember it.

This Movie was out way before I was born but is awesome!
