Plot Summary

Jennifer Aniston (Marley & Me, Office Space) and Steve Zahn (Sunshine Cleaning, Saving Silverman) star in this "rare romantic comedy" (Los Angeles Times) that's bursting with originality, humor and sweetness. It's lust at first sight for laid-back motel night manager Mike (Zahn) when Sue (Aniston), an uptight sales rep, checks in. Convinced that Sue is his dream girl, Mike shakes up his slacker life in an outrageous pursuit across the country. But can he steal her away from her hot-tempered boyfriend (Woody Harrelson, No Country for Old Men)? Both Mike and Sue must go on their own twisted journeys to find out if what they really need is each other.

Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Though it doesn't always work, it's an idea with its heart in the right place and, paired with nonshock comedy, it's a nice change of pace. – Betsy Sharkey, Los Angeles Times, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: Padding disguised as a feature-length screenplay. – Michael Phillips, Chicago Tribune, Jul 7, 2010

Fresh: But if there's a point to be made here, it's that persistence pays off, whether you're onscreen or in the audience. – Elizabeth Weitzman, New York Daily News, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: The film is a failure if it can't convince us that these two people belong together. It can't, and barely tries. – Kyle Smith, New York Post, Jul 7, 2010

Suprisingly Good Movie

When the movie first started, I was thinking "oh god, this movie looks terrible, but I started watching it so I might as well finish watching it" Then it slowly starting getting better and better to the point where I was shocked how I could go from thinking it's terrible, to being a movie, that is well worth renting. After watching the movie, I watched the trailer of the movie for the first time (I only rented this movie because I'm a fan of Steve Zahn)and I laughed, because the preview is terrible, there is no way I would have watched the movie if I had seen the trailer first, so please ignore the trailer and rent the movie.

Awh!

I can see why this movie wouldn't be considered a top selling title, but it's still really cute! I would definitely reccomnd this for anyone who loves romantic comedies or Jennifer Aniston. :)

Horrible

Not funny, poor choice of cast, just boring and predictable.
