Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: We're given an intimate seat to this wildly democratic - and creepily messianic - spectacle.
Fresh: A portrait of an artist whose life and work intertwine in ways even more compelling than might be imagined.
Fresh: In place of evenhandedness, the film gives us a full sense of a personality and intelligence so riveting that we begin to comprehend why all those hundreds of thousands lined up at the MoMA.
Fresh: "She's never not performing," says one friend. And the documentary, "Marina Abramovic: The Artist Is Present," confirms it.

The Artist is Truly Present
If you are into art films, this is a MUST SEE. A fantastic film chronicling the life of Marina Abramovic's work as an artist, and a moving thinker that challenges you to think, "What is Art?", all over again. Highly Recommended!
WOW is Present
well I had never heard of Marina before this movie, to be honest with you. I thought the preview looked semi-interesting. But what sold me was watching her sit at that table in the middle of the museum looking into people’s eyes for days on end. Just looking into her eyes on the poster drew me in. What a remarkable accomplishment this movie is. I felt connected with the artist the entire movie and found myself wanting more of her. More of her time. More of her love. More of her energy. She truly gave herself to her audience during this showing and I for one am grateful for the experience. Thank you for the great movie. Loved discovering this real treasure.
Wow
