In the fantastical world of 2037, hip-hoppin' frogs and dogs that wear glasses are as common as talking dinosaurs. In an amazing twist, Lewis discovers that the fate of the future rests in his hands, but he can't save it alone -- he'll need every bit of help he can get from the wonderfully wacky Robinson family, who help him learn to keep moving forward and never stop believing in himself. Blast off with Meet the Robinsons -- It's an exciting trip your whole family will enjoy!

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Meet the Robinsons is surely one of the worst theatrically released animated features issued under the Disney label in quite some time. – A.O. Scott, New York Times, Mar 13, 2009

Fresh: The movie is inventive and fun with a significant message that manages not to be overbearing. There are some heart-tugging -- but not sappy -- moments. – Claudia Puig, USA Today, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: The computer animation is fine, and some of the creatures -- an R2D2-type robot, a purple octopus who doubles as the Robinsons' butler, and a bowler hat that has silvery spider legs and designs on taking over the world -- will tweak kids' imaginations. – Jack Mathews, New York Daily News, Apr 12, 2007

Fresh: A delightful, quirk-filled riff on Back to the Future. – Lou Lumenick, New York Post, Jul 16, 2008

Don't Judge This Movie By The Trailer

The trailers, or the ads on TV for the movie aren't as good as the real thing. I thought that this movie would just be one of those normal animated Disney movies that would just pass by unnoticed, but it completely changed my mind when I actually watched it, it has a great plot about a 12 year old boy named Lewis and his big imagination, I highly recommend this.

BUY THIS MOVIE!!!!!

We saw this movie when it first came out and have never laughed so hard. In fact we have favorite lines that we just love to repeat to each other when situation might call for it. The movie is coming and we are going to be first in line to get it and I am downloading it into my pod so I can always get a good laugh. This is definitely a MUST BUY!!!!

Love the movie - bummed about missing text!

The movie was great - very surprising given how the trailers portrayed it. I too am dissapointed that the subtitle for the dinosaur scene is missing - i thought it was cute to have subtitles there. However, the BIGGEST disappointment was a part that is missing from the ending - the part that gave me chills when I first saw it in the theater -- Walt Disney's quote. How could that part be missing?! It's a very vital part that ties up the movie right at the end - and it's missing.
