Plot Summary

From 2 of the 6 writers of Scary Movie comes this tongue-in-cheek parody of the sword-and-sandal epics. The heroic Leonidas, armed with nothing but leather underwear and a cape, leads a ragtag group of 13 Spartans to defend their homeland against the invading Persians (whose ranks include Ghost Rider, Rocky Balboa, the Transformers, and a hunchbacked Paris Hilton). No one is safe when the Spartans take on the biggest icons in pop culture!

Rotten: Lazy, lame and painfully unfunny. – Joe Leydon, Variety, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Writer-directors Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer basically reprise the tired formula from their earlier efforts, which is to throw in as many pop culture references as possible to cover up the lack of any real wit. – Frank Scheck, Hollywood Reporter, Jun 24, 2010

WARNING: DO NOT WATCH

Saw it in theaters because for some incredibly odd reason of thinking that it'll be good due to the previews. the best parts of the movie can be summed up in a less than 20 second clip. dont waste your money on this; use it for gas or something.
