Men of Respect

Plot Summary

Mike Battaglia (John Turturro) has saved the D'Amico family empire. He's gunned down one of the leaders of an uprising against his padrino and protected the family's standing in the New York underworld. Now the simple soldier has been lifted from the ranks. For his loyalty and courage, the padrino (Rod Steiger) has decreed that Mike is to be treated as a man of respect. Ruthie Battaglia (Katherine Borowitz), however, has greater ambitions for her husband, and goads him onto a course of action that leads to a frenzy of betrayal, murder and madness in this modern-day Macbeth. Costarring are Dennis Farina (Get Shorty), Emmy winner Peter Boyle (Everybody Loves Raymond, Monster's Ball), Emmy and Golden Globe winner Stanley Tucci (Winchell, Big Night) and Academy Award® nominee Lilia Skala (Lilies Of The Field).
