Plot Summary
Grieving widower Garret Blake builds boats for a living. Rebuilding his life-that's another matter. But that's before Theresa Osborne comes to his North Carolina village. Theresa, a lonely divorcee and researcher for the Chicago Tribune, knows that Garret is the author of the message she found inside a bottle on a Cape Code beach. A+ It's been my favorite since I was 10.
Eh...
The book was way better. Luis Mandoki isn't a very good screen play writter. He should have used the help of Nicholas Sparks. The movie itself was bland and quite boring, and you are left waiting till the end to feel something memorable. I was quite surprised that this movie did not, in fact meet my expectations.
