A different take on Miami Vice
With Colin Ferrel and Jamie Fox acting and Michael Mann directing, this could have been a great action movie. This movie wasn't like the tv show and wasn't a face paced action movie. Although it didn't meet our expectations it turned about to be a good movie. Michael Mann is known for great dialogue and interesting characters, and that's what he gives us. The story is realistic and emotional, which makes it an engaging movie and worth seeing.
Miami Vice is a contemporary classic
On the surface, Miami Vice is a gritty crime drama filled with the flashing lights of Miami. Yet, at its core, this movie is about love and the relationships between characters as they find themselves being pushed closer and closer to the edge. An intense drama with stunning visuals, superb character devolpments and an outstanding score that seems almost too perfect in reflecting the mood and themes of the film.
Michael Mann Is The Business!!!
This is an awesome movie. I am waiting for itunes to release Heat & Collateral. Two other movies that are excellent buys!!!!
