A must-see

This movie answers the question, "Is there really a Santa Claus?" But fortunately the answer is charmingly ambiguous.
Although produced in 1947 and best seen in the original black and white, this movie resonates today. The heroine is a strong single mother as well as a top executive. She does not live in a fantasy world. The leading man is her match and is attracted to her indepedence. And of course, that old man just might be Santa Claus! Whoever he is, we learn the importance of love, trust, friendship, and family from him.
One of the many joys of this movie is watching Natalie Woods as the serious little girl who learns to trust.
A Miricle on 34th Street gives a reason for believing in Santa Claus. Watching this movie is a Christmas tradition to share.

amazing

this movie is amazing. i just saw it today for the first time. i love it and i want to watch it every year. I want to see the new one, but the originals are always the best!

My Absolute Favorite Christmas Movie

I have been waiting for iTunes to offer this movie. It did not seem right that the newer version, which cannot compare, was available before this one. There are other older versions out there, but none measure up to this version. It's just magic!
