NOTE: the plot synopsis on itunes is incorrect. this is a story about a servant and the master of the house's daughter - struggle between class, identity and ambition. In short, I would not recommend this film even if you've got insomnia and want to find a snoozer. the opening credits and flashing sequence of bustling servants working in the kitchen was enough to give one an epileptic seizure. i tried to get into the movie but the extreme close-ups of the two main characters were detracters. this movie - with such long takes, lack luster camera angles, and dizzying movement and shaking cameras - was the worst movie i've ever seen...aside from glitter...and i've seen over 2000 films at least.
