Plot Summary
The 1952 World Series put the Brooklyn Dodgers in a position it had never enjoyed in its previous five Fall Classics. With a 3-2 series lead, the Boys of Summer were one game from claiming the ultimate crown. However, the Yankees, with the help of Billy Martin's game-saving catch in Game 7 and the mighty Mickey Mantle, would break the hearts of Dodgers fans one more time and celebrate the team's 14th championship.
