Plot Summary
In his 14-year career, pitcher Don Larsen compiled an unspectacular 81-91 record. Yet, in his fourth season, Larsen accomplished something that no other pitcher had. In Game 5 of the 1956 World Series, he mowed down the NL-champion Dodgers without allowing an opponent to reach base. Larsen's perfect game remains the Fall Classic's most amazing performance.
