Plot Summary

With a pitching staff that included Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale and Johnny Podres, baseball was easy for the 1963 Dodgers. Koufax tossed a complete-game win to open the World Series, and Koufax, Drysdale, Podres and reliever Ron Perranoski allowed just four runs combined as the Dodgers swept the Yankees.
