Plot Summary
Roberto Clemente could always intimidate opponents with his throwing arm and his bat, and in 1971 his offensive surge sparked the Pittsburgh Pirates to a World Series title. After posting a .341 average during the regular season, the Hall of Famer from Puerto Rico batted .414 in the Fall Classic, including a home run in Pittsburgh's 2-1 Game 7 victory over the Baltimore Orioles.
