Plot Summary

Boston's Carlton Fisk frantically waving the ball into fair territory in Game 6 of the 1975 World Series remains an iconic baseball moment. The ball stayed fair for a game-winning home run that forced a winner-take-all Game 7 between the Red Sox and the Reds. Cincinnati took the series with a tense 4-3 victory that saw Joe Morgan drive in the World Series-winning run in the top of the ninth.
