Plot Summary
In 1976, the Cincinnati Reds became the first NL team to win back-to-back world championships since the New York Giants in 1921 and 1922. One of baseball's all-time greatest dynasties, the "Big Red Machine" won six NL West titles during the 1970s. Led by World Series MVP Johnny Bench, the Reds swept the Yankees in the '76 Fall Classic to complete the first perfect trip through a multi-tiered Postseason.
