Plot Summary
When he arrived in New York for the 1977 season, Reggie Jackson, to the chagrin of some teammates, proclaimed himself "the straw that stirs the drink." But in that year's World Series, Jackson rose above the turmoil, and transformed himself into "Mr. October" when he bashed three home runs - on three consecutive pitches - in the World Series-clinching victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
