Plot Summary

Resiliency was the mark of the New York Yankees in 1978. The Bronx Bombers overcame a 14-game deficit in the American League East, topped off by Bucky Dent’s famous home run against rival Boston in the regular season tiebreaker game. The Yankees found themselves down again, this time 0-2 in the Fall Classic against the Los Angeles Dodgers. But Ron Guidry, Reggie Jackson, Thurman Munson and a still hot Dent rattled off four straight wins to capture the Club's 22nd World Series championship.
