Plot Summary

It seemed that the Red Sox, after 68 years of hardship, would finally come out on top in 1986. But, in the 10th inning of Game 6, the Mets rallied to tie the score. Everyone knows what happened next. Boston first-baseman Bill Buckner misplayed a ground ball from Mookie Wilson, and World Series MVP Ray Knight scampered home to force a Game 7, which the Mets won to seal their first championship since 1969.
