Plot Summary

There was no torture this time. There was a special season. The San Francisco Giants™ clinched their eighth National League™ West Division title and then faced elimination six times in a thrilling 2012 Postseason run. Six times they rose up in victory, battling to a World Series championship. Guided by the astute and unflappable Bruce Bochy and driven by dominant pitching and timely hitting, the Giants overcame the Cincinnati Reds™ and the St. Louis Cardinals™ before vanquishing the Detroit Tigers™ in four straight games to claim the World Series® crown. The Giants storylines were intriguing: ace Matt Cain tossed a perfect game. Late season acquisition Marco Scutaro turned into an NLCS™ MVP. And everyone’s favorite panda Pablo Sandoval blasted into the record books with a historic home run performance. This documentary film celebrates the wonderful story of the 2012 Postseason—from the pregame pep rally dugout dance to the victory dance in Motown and a ticker-tape parade back home. Together they were Giants. Together they are champions.

Customer Reviews

It's great to be king!

Must have for a Giants fan!

Almost perfect

Doesn't quite do the Giants post season justice. Plays down the drama a little and needs more of the official giants broadcasters, but overall a great movie. GO GIANTS!

Great perspective of the players becoming a team

The Giants' playoff run in 2012 is a good character study. They won 6 straight games when a loss would have ended their season. This show captures the players' struggling, bonding, and not giving up. Good baseball action as well. Most of all, stay for the end credits, for they alone are worth the price of admission.
