Plot Summary
Screen legend Clark Gable ("Gone With The Wind," "It Happened One Night") is in the center of a steamy love triangle as an African big-game hunter pursued by Grace Kelly ("Rear Window") as a prim and proper British woman and Ava Gardner as a brash American showgirl. Filmed entirely in Africa, and directed by Oscar-winner John Ford ("Stagecoach," "The Grapes of Wrath"). Kelly and Gardner both received Oscar nominations.

Fantastic!!
C'mon! Clark Gable, Ava Gardner, Grace Kelly! How can you lose! This is a classic classic! These three steam up the screen the only way it could be done in 1953! There is so much sub-text in the dialogue it cannot be ignored.
The acting, costumes and LAND ROVERS! This is the Africa, and Hollywood, of my father & grandfather!

Jungle Heat
Definitely not the African Queen but this movie has three top Hollywood attractions in Gable, Gardner and Grace! I'm especially fond of the chemistry between the King and Gardner which makes the screen sizzle. Location shots and story are dated but it's window into the studio system of the past and Hollywood star power.
Magambo
I have brought this movie based on the fact that Grace Kelly and Ava Gardner are in the same movie. This movie was done with great direction to the "little datails" that movie stand out. Another fact that movies today do not live up to the standards that were an important fact in producing a film. Ava Gardner is probably the greatest actress of our time, but to add Grace Kelly too, now that is amazing. Clark Gable is a well known well astinguished actor of his time. This was done as a great movie that will stand out for all time to come.
