Plot Summary

Two hardware store wage slaves, Cal (Scott Wallis) and Teddy (Mike Kovac), decide to take revenge on their boss by kidnapping his blond daughter Crystal (Chelsey Reist) and holding her for ransom. What follows is a hilarious series of gaffes and romps where every conceivable thing that can go wrong for these two, does - redefining the concept of 'criminally dumb.'

Movie Lover

I saw Mon Ami at the Eerie Horror Film Festival in October 2012. It was the midnight feature on the second night of the EHFF. It was seen by a fun and enthustiac crowd who was laughing one minute and screaming the next! We couldn't believe what we were seeing, trying to figure out was would happen next! Teddy, Cal and the entire cast of characters had us at the edge of our seats while roaring out loud. It was one of the most memorabile movie going experiences I have ever had! I don't want to spoil this movie for anyone, so I won't go into any of the details of this incredibly dark comedy. All I will tell you is to see Mon Ami. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

So many laughs, such a high body count

I saw this at Cinequest in 2013 and it was a highlight of the festival. As we were walking out of the theatre one little old lady behind us turned to her friend and asked “how could they make this so gruesome and still so funny?”. An extremely well-paced exercise in black comedy and highly recommended.
