One of the few...

I'm always ready for a movie to end. But this is one of the few that I hated to see end. I'm usually ready for the conclusion, everything resolved, and loose ends tied up. But I didn't want "Monsieur Lazhar" to end. I want to live in his classroom, be his friend, his student, his fellow teacher. The childre were perfection! Loving, vulnerable, naughty, accepting, and amazing actors!

I think "Monsieur Lazhar" should be shown in every education class, in every university! Better yet, on every network through out North America...THE WORLD! A brilliant reminder of what public education should be, MUST be!

Bravo

Magnifique, il faut avoir des messieurs Lahsar dans toutes les écoles du monde. Le film même c'est une leçon pour des professeurs, parents et élèves. Bravo!

Understated Beauty

What a refreshing, enjoyable movie - simple and sweet. People are kind to each other, but they aren't perfect. The characters are unique, but not flamboyantly so. The children are so endearing.
