Plot Summary
The love life of professional dog walker Charlotte "Charlie" Honeywell consists of an endless string of disastrous blind dates - until she meets the perfect guy, Kevin. Her dream man seems too good to be true, especially when he proposes marriage. Engaged to marry Kevin, Charlie has second thoughts after meeting his overbearing mother, who thinks no girl is good enough for her Kevin, and especially not Charlie. Rotten: Fonda and Sykes are made for each other, and their incessant bickering and arguing are about the only things that give Monster-in-Law any life.
Rotten: Poor Jennifer Lopez. Despite star billing, she is but a spectator at Fonda's fireworks show.
Rotten: In a movie about diva-to-diva warfare, each diva is miscast.
Rotten: The phrase 'chewing the scenery' never made much sense to me (is this a phrase used in normal human conversation? Ever?), but I know it when I see it. And Jane Fonda gnaws it to the bone in Monster-in-Law.

Great.
This was a very good movie. As the mother of a son hates his fiancee, she will do anything to get rid of her. Jennifer Lopez acted very good as Kevin's fiancee, Charlie. Charlie is also willing to fight back. Who will win? This movie will rage you on in laughs as you see what they do to achieve great heights. Please rent this first; it is considered a "chick flick" and will probably not satisfy many tastes, though it satisfys mine. Priceless movie.

This movie is hilarious! I laughed my head off the whole time! I love Jennifer Lopez! I love this movie! It is perfect for when you are feeling down and need a laugh or just need a laugh period! One of the BEST movies ever! I totally recommend it! :)
