Plot Summary
Celebrated actor Richard Dreyfuss earned an Academy Award® nomination (Best Actor, 1995) for his unforgettable role in this heartwarming tale about the importance of following your passion. Glen Holland is a musician who dreams of composing one truly memorable piece of music, but reality intrudes when he reluctantly accepts a “day job” as a high school music teacher to support his family. Ultimately, Mr. Holland realizes that his true passion is teaching and his legacy is the generations of young people he inspires.

Great Movie
This is an amazing movie but I can't give it movie 5 stars due to $17.99 for SD version for this movie is to high. I have been waiting a long time for this movie to become available in iTunes. I was very dssappointed to see that the HD and SD verisons are the same price.
Heartwarming tear jerker
Dreyfus delivers a great performance. I'm not a professional critic but this movie is definitely Friday night popcorn on the couch date worthy.
Perfect Movie
As a young musician this movie touched my heart to see how a person can change.
