Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: A film that has a beating heart underneath its messy -- though breathtakingly designed -- exterior. – Boyd van Hoeij, Variety, Oct 28, 2013

Fresh: This big-budget English-language co-production shows that Europeans can compete in the sci-fi realm where high production values are king. – Deborah Young, Hollywood Reporter, Oct 28, 2013

Fresh: Never mind that several characters seem to gain or lose British accents throughout the course of the film. The lack of continuity only enhances the sense of deliciously dizzying disequilibrium. – Michael O'Sullivan, Washington Post, Oct 31, 2013

Rotten: While Mr. Nobody contains some truly moving scenes, it eventually starts to try your concentration when you suspect all the space/time continuum shuffling may never become more than the sum of its parts. – Jennie Punter, Globe and Mail, Oct 28, 2013

One of the best movies of all times...

What are the odds, to truly and deeply understand „Mr. Nobody“ when you watch it the first time? My guess: there’s no way! Instead of (desperately) reading something into the movie try enjoying this endless flow of spectacular scenes and impossible dolly shots (e.g. mirror scene). Time will tell. I watched „Mr. Nobody“ several times and it is not getting boring. The movie is on my short list of items I would bring to a desert island - just like „The Adjustment Bureau“, „Matrix“, „Butterfly Effect“, „Pi“, „Primer“, „Vanilla Sky“, „Requiem for a Dream" and „American Psycho“.

Do like different?

If you crave a different kind of story with unpredictable direction, you will really like this one. Fan of SciFi and don’t mind love being in the mix?… then you love it! Tired of remakes? You won’t find that here. Its creative, original, fun, touching, and certainly worth renting, maybe even buying if you don’t get it all the first time around.

Geat Imagative Quantum of Improvable possibilities.

Great story line of imagative quantum of thought of having all possibilities to live out and back again.
