Plot Summary

Fresh: A strange synergy of old and new, My Bloody Valentine 3D blends cutting-edge technology and old-school prosthetics to produce something both familiar and alien: gore you can believe in.
Rotten: What really leaps out at you about My Bloody Valentine 3-D is its lack of imagination.
Fresh: Director and co-editor Lussier (a frequent Wes Craven collaborator) plays the 3-D gimmick for all its worth.
Rotten: In some ways, the filmmakers have created something too authentic in spirit to the original film, as it also fairly quickly becomes a plodding chore to watch.

If you're a fan of "Supernatural" and horror movies, you're going to enjoy this. I'm glad I got it.
A Horror Movie That Gets It Right
After tons of PG-13 "horror" movies that are too safe for their own good, it's friggin' GREAT to see a horror movie that is not shy about getting gory and violent and nude... and that just has a damn good time with itself, which makes it all that much more fun to watch. Loved it in the theater, and I still love it now. For once, I find myself hoping that they make a sequel or at the very least more equally violent and fun escapist horror movies like this. Thank you, Harry Warden.
AWESOME!! The Best Horror Film of 2009!!
Jensen Ackles makes his lead theatrical debuit in this movie and he does a bloody fine job of it.
