Plot Summary
Disney's hilarious My Favorite Martian is an intergalactic comedy that crash-lands the classic television series into the nineties! This hilarious adventure begins when an ambitious TV reporter, Tim O'Hara (Jeff Daniels), stumbles upon a Martian (Christopher Lloyd) who has just crashed on Earth! Thinking this is the story of the Millennium, Tim schemes to expose the Martian - who has taken human form as "Uncle Martin." When Tim's efforts are constantly foiled by Uncle Martin's crazy antics, he decides to help the resourceful alien return home. With the government hot on their trail and a spaceship in pieces, can they blast Uncle Martin off in time? Wild special effects create outrageous laughs, including aliens morphing, cars shrinking, objects floating, and Martin's rowdy spacesuit, Zoot. When I first saw this movie I had thought it was the gfreatest movie of the new millenium, I remember watching this movie when I was a kid and I couldnt stop laughing. It's as great as a film as it was back in the day I just wish that we could purchase this movie instead of only having the option of renting it. I remember when this only made it on the i-Tunes store for 2 weeks and then it was ripped off, after I requested it on Apple's website I would have hoped we would see more than a renting option but who knows maybe that will change in the near future :D Overall wonderful film and Donald Petrie's best to date!

This movie is cheesy and campy and TONS of fun. I've only seen a few episodes of the old TV show, so I can't really say how the movie compares, but come on! Christopher Lloyd as a Martian cannot be anything BUT awesome! Christopher Lloyd is one of my favorite actors, and this movie cracked me up. Oh, and the voice of Zoot is uncredited, but my brother and I are positive that it's Wayne Knight. I usually don't buy movies (and I usually rent from Netflix) but I would buy this one! Please, iTunes? With a cherry on top?
omg i love this movie
its funny. and good. just some parts were weird or stupid but overall it was good. recommend people should watch it .
