Plot Summary
Los Angeles based producer Squeak E. Clean and the Brazilian DJ Zegon formed North America/South America (N.A.S.A.) born out their friendship, shared inspiration and love of music from both continents. With unlikely but brilliant collaborations such as Chuck D + David Byrne, Karen O + Fatlip and Tom Waites + Kool Keith and appearances by Ol Dirty Bastard, MIA and Method Man, this is a music documentary not to be missed. A FilmBuff presentation.

under rated.
cool flick about the making of a very under rated album. Worth the watch if you're a fan of music and and what it really takes to make a cool record.
Fantastic!
If you love music, you need to watch this. You'll be happy you did.
Fairytale come true
Caught this music documentary at a S.F. film festival in 2011 and was swept away by the sweet protagonists and their mission to create a hip-hop recording in collaboration with A-list rappers and other marquee musicians. So there's this mini-epic journey which scours the western hemisphere, is punctuated by richly documented studio sessions, and is lushly interwoven by mind-blowing animations. The clever, sometimes hilarious, animations play nicely with the musical centerpiece and sometimes mischievously with N.A.S.A.'s distinguished contributors. (Love it!)
I've been subsisting on the excellent album for 2 years now. Time to reunite with the film. Can't wait.
