Plot Summary
Andrew (Arquette), a gay thirty year old live-at-home artist is in the midst of a serious creative funk. Rejected by countless art schools and lacking romantic prospects, he looks to his charismatic aging uncle Alfred (Epstein) for inspiration. Vexed by Andrew's lack of direction is his self-absorbed actress mom Genna (Kidder).

New Queer Cinema!
A classic of the new queer cinema movement. Winner of the 1997 Outfest award for screenwriting (Stephen Kijak) and best actor (Alexis Arquette). Sensitively written, artfully shot, smartly directed, a winning film in every way. Waiting for the follow-up.
Zzzzzzz . . .
Watch it if you are a BIG fan of Alexis Arquette, or need a nap. It put me to sleep. It might have been filmed in Boston but you wouldn't know it--unless you love the inside of the Cyclorama. It's Disappointing.

the movie is fabulous..........filmed in boston's back bay area and has an amazing number of boston's best drag performers from Jacques cabaret on 79 broadway st( bay village), including VERNA TURBULENCE, LAKIA MONDALE AND OF COURSE THE PHENOMINAL STEPHANIE WHYTE.....................Alexis and Margot give top notch performances..................a must for gay genre film buffs.............ENJOY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
