Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: As [Burns'] characters grow older and more entrenched in borrowed luxury (Buzzy is a physical trainer who married into money), their charm wears increasingly thin. – Ronnie Scheib, Variety, Jan 12, 2012

Fresh: Burns's faux-documentary style allows space for some wickedly revealing confessions, while jump cuts accentuate his characters' rapid-fire showdowns. – Andrea Gronvall, Chicago Reader, Jan 12, 2012

Burnsie and Cast Do A Fantastic Job...

The acting in this low budget, high output indie film is simply amazing. The writing is stellar and casting is brilliant. Ed Burns hits a grand slam with this one as I have watched it twice already.
