Plot Summary

The first film of its kind to chronicle the reasons behind Iraq's descent into guerilla war, warlord rule, criminality and anarchy, NO END IN SIGHT is a jaw-dropping insider's tale of wholesale incompetence, recklessness, and venality. Based on over 200 hours of footage, the film provides a candid retelling of the events following the fall of Baghdad in 2003, and examines the manner in which the principal errors of U.S. policy largely created the insurgency and chaos that engulf Iraq today.

Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: No End in Sight, the latest Iraq documentary, is the first to attempt a detailed historical overview and probably the only one with the potential to reach across partisan lines, a true rarity in the sphere of political filmmaking. – Dennis Lim, Los Angeles Times, Sep 20, 2007

Fresh: No End in Sight will leave you floored, agape and enraged anew. – Christy Lemire, Associated Press, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: [No End in Sight] may be the best and saddest film of the year so far. – Michael Phillips, Chicago Tribune, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: No End in Sight is the most coolheaded of the Iraq war documentaries, the most methodical and the least polemical. Yet it's the one that will leave audiences the most shattered, angry and astounded. – Mick LaSalle, San Francisco Chronicle, Aug 11, 2007

And the truth shall set you free...

Exemplary work. Another fine doc detailing the previous administration's "work" to reconstruct Iraq, as told by most of the key players themselves. High marks indeed.

The definitive film of the Iraq war

If you really want to understand the mistakes we made in the war in Iraq, you must see this film. I watched it three times in a week, and can't believe it didn't win an oscar.

The Clearest, Most Damning Film Against the Bush Administration

Its clarity and honesty make this a must-watch for all Americans, so that we don't repeat the same thing again.
