Plot Summary
This moving and inspiring doc chronicles Emily “Etay” Tay, a Burmese immigrant from Los Angeles, who breaks all the rules of tradition by attending Harvard University and playing basketball. However, Emily’s dreams are no slam-dunk as she’s forced to come to terms with her passions on and off the court. She faces family, race, and discrimination in her quest to play professional basketball and come out as a lesbian. A FilmBuff Presentation.

Really enjoyed watching this doc. The characters are multidimensional, likable, candid, and so much more. It's a film about overcoming adversity, friendship, determination, and following your dreams.
Definitely worth watching!
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I rented this movie and it turned out to be wonderful. Emily’s story is an inspiration to us all, male/female/gay/straight.
