Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: The expectations raised by the first 20 minutes ... make it all the more disappointing when incoherent slaughter replaces soul-chilling dread. – Jeannette Catsoulis, New York Times, May 9, 2013

Rotten: "No One Lives" is a cheap horror prank that's ultimately not clever or accomplished enough to sustain its eccentricities, and they are very bloody eccentricities indeed. – Robert Abele, Los Angeles Times, May 9, 2013

Fresh: Director Ryuhei Kitamura (The Midnight Meat Train) is too talented for material this retro-junky, but he and screenwriter David Cohen keep the action coming hard and fast ... – Chuck Wilson, Village Voice, May 8, 2013

Fresh: Like black pudding, No One Lives is an acquired taste. – Martyn Conterio, Little White Lies, Sep 5, 2013

good slasher thriller

Great slasher thriller. Good plot and lots of blood and gore - enjoyed it immensely. Those rotten tomato reviewers should get off there high horses and just enjoy a good flick for what it is.

Slasher flick

I don't know where these five star rating peeps keep popping up from. This movie was ok but nothing memorable. The premise is that a psychopath has kidnapped a girl and the two of them and the psycho's girlfriend run into a bunch of crims. The crims are bad news and you wind up barracking for the psychopath. He doesn't disappoint and the bad guys get their just desserts. This movie is your typical slasher except this slasher is taking out the trash.

Bring On The Blood

This movie is beyond fun. Great kills like we've never seen and funny as hell dialogue. If Brain Dead was a slasher movie this would be it.
